The "Lotus Space"
The Intention
You will find I use a number of symbols over and over in my work. These icons are symbolic of the intention that is imbued in my work and all the courses, coaching and resources provided through Lotus Space.
Carl Jung said that "symbols are not a sign of the ordinary; they are images of an invisible spirit and have a meaning far beyond themselves. When words are inadequate symbols provide their own language of communication".
Here is a brief summary of the three key symbols that encapsulate the intention imbued in the Lotus Space and its services.

Lotus
The lotus is an ancient and powerful image used and revered in many cultures. It symbolises harmony, illumination and unlimited potential. The lotus is a reminder to us that challenges are fertilizers for brilliance that ultimately are there to simulate creativity enabling us to access our inner wisdom and untapped potential. The courses, coaching and resources provided by Lotus Space are lovingly designed and crafted to support this process of reconnection, discovery and awakening.
The lotus is a flower that grows in the mud. The deeper and thicker the mud the more beautiful the lotus blooms. Thich Nhat Hanh reminds us that if there is no mud, there is no lotus. Working with life’s challenges and opening ourselves up to these experiences empowers our intuition and supports our growth towards wisdom, connecting us to our inner sovereignty and our true essence. It is from this place that we can reconnect and rediscover our true potential and brilliance.

Flower of Life
The Flower of Life is a sacred geometric symbol of the pattern of the universe. Again it is one of the oldest sacred symbols and is linked to the Tree of Life and the Lotus. Many ancient sites and structures contain this symbol. The oldest site that can be found is the Temple of Osiris in Egypt and is at least 6000 years old. It is also found in ancient temples in China, Israel, Japan, India, Turkey and in 13th century Italian art.
The Flower of Life is believed to contain the patterns of creation as they emerged from the Great Void. By meditating upon this symbol of Sacred Geometry it has been known to have powerful healing benefits, helps to dissolve fears, assists in connecting to the higher self, stronger self awareness and reveals the innate harmony in the template of all life.
